Anti Bully & Harassment Policy

INTRODUCTION

At Elevate Conference UK, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying, harassment, discrimination, verbal or physical abuse, and inappropriate behaviour.

By attending the Conference, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a positive experience for everyone involved.

1. SCOPE OF POLICY

This policy applies to:

All attendees, speakers, staff, sponsors, and suppliers

All conference-related spaces, including the main event, networking areas, social gatherings, and online discussions related to the event

Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated in any form, whether in-person, online, or via social media.

2. DEFINITION OF HARASSMENT & BULLYING

Harassment includes but is not limited to:

Unwelcome verbal or physical conduct related to gender, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic

Sexual harassment, including unwanted advances, inappropriate comments, or any non-consensual physical contact

Intimidation or deliberate exclusion of individuals from discussions, networking, or activities

Offensive jokes, gestures, or derogatory remarks

Unwanted photography or video recording of individuals without their permission

Deliberate misgendering or disrespecting personal identity

Bullying includes but is not limited to:

Aggressive or threatening behaviour towards others

Spreading false information, gossip, or rumours

Public humiliation, ridicule, or shaming

Persistent interruption, shouting down, or ignoring someone’s contributions

Sabotaging someone’s work, reputation, or business relationships

3. REPORTING A CONCERN

If you experience or witness bullying, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour, we encourage you to report it immediately so we can take appropriate action.

How to Report:

• Speak directly to a member of the event staff or security personnel.

• Email hello@elevateconference.uk (you may remain anonymous if preferred).

• Use our Conference Feedback form.

We take all reports seriously and will address them promptly, fairly, and confidentially.

4. CONSEQUENCES OF VIOLATING THIS POLICY

Anyone found violating this policy may face the following actions:

Verbal or written warning

Removal from the event without a refund

Ban from future Elevate Conference events

Involvement of law enforcement, if necessary

Event organisers will make decisions in line with the severity of the situation.
